Actually this is no surprise. -105 for both teams is about right. Ryu had a solid spring. He is coming off 4 perfect innings in his last spring training outings. Last 16.2 innings has just given up 3 runs. Also, the batters have never faced him. This could be a play for the under since bumgarner , but 6.5 is pretty low , so probably not a play here. I am a giants fan, but Ryu is a mystery and not sure what to expect from him. He does look like a pretty good pitcher.Comment -
Under 6.5 is + 110 at one of my books, could be a good buy, but too early in the season for me to pull the trigger. Bumgarner is also a slow starter.Comment -
I got the Over at -120 ( Under was EV) from William Hill around 9:30pm PST. Maybe 7 by gametime? However flat SF looked yesterday, I think some more hitting is in store & Im hoping the Over will be good...Comment -
A lot of folks out there are tempted to chase SF today but, as ss7415 noted, batters have never faced him. Also, there is a large Korean population in LA and Ryu will have even more motivation to make his opening day a good one. Will be on the sidelines for this one.Comment -

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. My opinion is that it may play a role in his motivation (in addition to making a good showing in the bigs). My other reasons for staying away from this play include the line as well as the fact that SF will have a target on their backs all season long because they are the defending champs.
