Lynn has allowed 7 runs and 7 BB in his last two starts against sub-par offenses. He's been living on the edge all season and I feel like he's in for a correction soon.

Lance lynn can't pitch to lefties. He usually just walks them, but hopefully Crawford/gonzo/ethier/punto/gordon can make solid contact when they get the chance. (assuming ethier plays. He's a good hitter vs righties, so hopefully mattingly stops fvcking around and plays him)

Only thing that scares me is cardinals are so righty heavy and facing a lefty in capuano isn't reassuring. Dodgers Team total being at 3.5 +100 looks a bit more appealing IMO

New to the thread, but have always valued your input No Coin . Ive been looking into the SD/ARIZ game and SD looks like it could be a value play. Stults has been great his last 3 starts (2-1, 2.29 era) and in five career starts vs Ariz he is 3-2 with 2.67 era, and never giving up more than 3 runs in any of those games. Ariz bats have been cold lately and only hitting .230 against lefties this year, while SD has won 8 of 10 games in Ariz and avg 5.9 runs.

A bit confused on the TTs in this game though. Cle is O/U 4.5 while Boston is @ 4 with heavy juice on the over.

Boy I'm glad I cashed out all my accounts and I'm glad you didn't tail this one. You'd be losing your hair if you were watching this game on this play. Twice...TWICE in 3 innings OAK has had a runner thrown out trying to advance.

First Donaldson tags up at 2nd and gets thrown out to make the final out of the inning at 3B on a fly to CF. Had 2 runners on. Then ... on a bloop single which would have put runners at 1st and 3rd, 1 out, and Crisp up OAK inexplicably gets thrown out at 2nd trying to advance making it, instead, 2 outs and a runner at 3rd.

I'll leave out the apparent missed fair ball call by Culbreth at 3rd base on a shot down the line with the bases loaded and no outs in the 1st. He was too busy leaping out the way to call the ball correctly fair.
