It's funny how we can go from not being able to miss to not being able to pick anything right in stretches. I don't know to be honest. All part of the game -- especially baseball. Just hard to be patient and accept that there will be days like that, even if you've made a good bet (like your Miami pick).

Yeah, I thought about it. I'm just going to pass, though. Cubs are playing better and the Mets are the Mets, but Jackson -- ugh.

Coin any reason you dislike Jackson? He's been pretty awful this year with runners on base, but his previous few years worth of numbers show that this is more likely to be an aberration than his true skill set. I was pretty excited to see the cubs sign him (not quite Anibal excited, but excited nevertheless), so i'm interested to hear what you don't like about him. He's been erratic in the past, but for the past few years he's eben pretty decent.

I think it's safe to say Coin dislikes Jackson because he's been a human time bomb his entire career capable of shutting a team down or capable of giving up 7 runs in the first.

There's a reason he's pitched for basically every MLB team.

If you can get through the first inning, you might be OK. But he's a human rollercoaster ride early in games.

I love Harvey, too.

Just have a hard time actually making a play on the Cubs, even though the line is really a joke given the overall makeup of these two teams.

I'm on the Mets. I think they 'sort of' came out of there hitting slump yesterday and will carry it over to today plus your getting (maybe not any more) Harvey at a decent price.
