Not an exact science, but it's usually good to pay attention to how Pinny "tightens" the lines from BOL's open. In other words, if a team starts at -140 at BOL and is -125 at Pinny's open, the dog is worth a look (depending, of course, on where the line goes from there).

In the St. Louis case tomorrow, it looks like the early move was in StL's favor. However, you have to consider the fact that Waino only opened as a virtual PK against Detwiler -- in other words, there has to be a context to the play and line as well.

Going to be damn hard to pass on Waino as a virtual pick. He's locked in. I've watched three of his starts, and his stuff is arguably as good as ever.

With that being said, Detwiler's turning into one of the more underrated SP's in the game today.

I was leaning boston at first based solely on their hitting being so good, but ORtiz is 6-46 against colon lifetime and 2-8 over the past 4 or so years. That's a pretty big source of productivity to lose out on. Might play TT's in that game instead of a side. Aceves is pretty sucky and I refuse to belive that colon can still be a useful SP

Any thoughts on SF/ARI?

I'm having a hard time finding anything to play tonight. Want to ride Waino with you, but I'm actually surprised and a little confused the line's still sitting at -105/-103.
