    Fade the Astros season thread.
Ok so I watched some spring ball and we're gonna get better, just not anytime soon. So I decided to fade the hometown 'stros for a little bit. I say a little bit because by the end of May when they are like 15-35 or some shit like that, they might not be worth fading anymore. I guess we'll see, they might have a good start like last season (they were 22-29 by the end of May) and the prices were very favorable the rest of the season as they finished 33-78.

I already started with a future:

    Houston under 59.5 wins $1,300/$1,000

Also for tonight's game I have Texas $310/$200

I know it's stupid but as the season goes on I might do a little Martingale since I don't see them sweeping too many teams or winning more than 2 or 3 in a row a couple of times this year.

I'm with ya on this. lol. Fading them all season, I don't think you'd lose money much, unless they pull off some sort of 5 game win streak.

They are essentially a minor league squad.

I think Houston might actually win 60+ this year. Bo Porter has a lot of energy and attitude. He won't let these guys sulk like Brad Mills did. They actually played better the last month of the season under DeFrancesco.

You don't even need to martingale every astros game to keep it a lock. Just avoid home series against twins/royals and the crappy NL teams during interleague and you're set. No way they're sweeping Rangers/As/Angels/Red Sox/Yanks/Tigers/Indians/Rays/Blue Jays. Hell there won't be a single one of those series where they won't lose by the RL.

Yeah, against shitty teams I'll probably skip the home series. Or at least won't martingale it. Martingale is soooooo stupid but it gets the blood flowing, especially in the 3rd. games lol.

Wait, you're fading them too but on the RL?

Maybe we should go to a game and fade together. I know hippo lives here too. I'm going to the game on May 5 (Sunday). I can get half price tickets for that game any section. Let me know if you guys want to come over.

These motherfukers are really trying to penetrate me tonight. Now I'm cheering to lose the live bets to limit the bleeding. I need Texas to take the lead here.

This penetrating Houston teams make me sick. On St.Patrick day I dropped 2k at the Rockets game, motherfukers went 5-1 on the home stretch and of course the one they don't show up to is the one I go to and load up on.

Still up for the Cinco de Mayo game though lmao.

I'm gonna take today as a warning that these fukers are probably gonna screw me over the season. Might as well go back to NBA props if I feel like betting again. So far so good on the NCAA. Good luck to you guys whatever you do.

If you watched or followed enough, you would know how nasty Norris was at home last year and this instantly would have been a no-play or even a houston play. Lucas Harrell is also very decent at home as well so tread lightly.

True, Norris was lights out last year at home. But at near 60% win rate I figured I'll take Texas. I didn't really account for their losses in the line up though. I'm just glad I got out of it with only a hundred bucks lost. Could have been a penetrating disaster.
