    Where to find starting umpires
Just wondering if theres a spot you can find out the ump squad and who will be home plate ump, before the game starts? Im talking regular season and playoffs not spring training.

Usually this info starts getting posted to MLB.com around 4-6pm for 7pm games and a bit later for the later games. maybe 10-11am for noon games. From there, they rotate clockwise every game until a new series starts

Where on mlb.com does it get posted? In the preview or game day screen for the particular game?

Cool man thanks for the help! Does it vary by day? Like one day theyll have the info then another day they wont? Or is it pretty consistent? Does it also list which umpire will be what? Like umpire A will be home plate ump, ump B will be first baseline ump etc.?

Posted before every game, Looks like this.
                  Umpires: HP--Marty Foster. 1B--Tim Timmons. 2B--Jeff Kellogg. 3B--Eric Cooper.
It's there every game, but you can figure out tomorrow's ump by knowing the 1b ump of the game before (provided you're looking at the same series between teams and not the start of a new series)

Thank you very much hoosier. Does 1B ump always become home plate ump the next day? I actually did not know that lol.

probably 98% of the time, yes. Injury / whatever and they can skip, but the rotation of umps is always HP->3b->2b->1b->hp

Word of advice... Always double check the umps. Someone might post the wrong name and it spreads to other sites or the original ump gets sick etc etc

Thanks. Im not putting too much weight on the umps. I started doing fairly well with totals last season, so Im looking to continue and improve this year by attempting to factor in some umpire information.
