Homerun Challenge. Who Will hit more homeruns then they did last year ?
Watsup SBR.. Im joining a homerun challenge league thing around my way.
The rules are simple, you have to pick 7 players from a list they give you, and their homerun totals cant exceed more than 162 from their 2012 stats.

Every year, the winner of this challenge has around 219 homeruns total for his team. Thats an average of about 31-32 Homeruns a player.

My 7 from the list are :
    J Bruce 34
    Pujols 30
    Longoria 17
    Bautista -27
    Kendry Morales -22
    Mike Morse -18
    Matt Kemp -23

Who would be your 7 ? Basically to hit atleast 30 or more but their totals cant pass more than 162 from last years stats

        Longoriva 17
        Bautista 27
        Pujols 30
        are locks That's 3 for 74

Kemp 23 looks good too if you are OK with his injury history. Could be a buy low situation. I'd take it that's 4 for 97. 3 for 65 left.

I'd imagine everybody has these 4 guys or 3 out of 4, the last 3 picks are where you are going to win or lose it.

How long is Mark Texiera out because he should hit mid 30's + with the short porch even in a shorter season.
Jason Heyward 27 could provide good upside.
Mark Reynolds 23 looks good if he can stay in the lineup with low batting average
I'd consider Cargo at 22. Will always be in lineup hitting at Coors.
Justin Moreneau could revive himself at 19
        Bryce Harper 22 could improve
Morse, Adrian Gonzalez, Carlos Santana, Justin Upston, Carlos Quinton. Morse has injury history now and will now hit in Seattle.

        I'd take
        Longorieva 17
        Bautista 27
        Pujols 30
        Kemp 23
        Adrian Gonzalez 18
        Mark Reynolds at 23
        Cargo at 22

        Mark Reynolds HR totals, 18, 28, 44, 32, 37, 23.
        Gonzalez HR totals going backwards, 18, 27, 31, 40, 36, 30.
Cargo HR totals going backwards, 22, 26, 34

I like your 7, looks solid. And as for Teixera, he might be done for the season with that wrist injury.

I was looking around and saw that Seattles stadium is going to be easier to hit more homeruns since they are pulling in the fences.. Idk thats why i liked Kendry morales and the injury plagued Morse

I grew up with Evan and played little league with him. I'm a Dodger homer but obviously wish him the best. Longoria and Kemp!
