Wed, March 6 KC at Ari
I'm new and just want to contribute to the forums. I don't like to fire on games in the spring all too often, but today seems like this is a good one . The Royals won their 10th straight yesterday and at -102 today, I like it. They are making a 40 minute trip to Salt River Fields to take on the Dbacks. Shields is toeing the rubber for KC and Cahill for Ari. Shields is looking good this spring in his one outing and bullpen sessions and will make his 2nd start today. He's motivated to be an ace and team looks really excited to have one. Royals are also throwing wheeler, guiterrez, sanchez, adock, Mariot and Boyer. Yost has said that Shields will throw one time through. Pitching for Ari is Cahill, he is behind shields by all accounts and is still really trying to get a feel for his mechanics and just trying to locate his pitches, and not trying to paint. As well , hes not really snapping dueces off yet and just floatin em over. His leash today is short as Gibby said they are throwing 9 others in the mix. Corbin, Reynold, Lewis, Sipp, Mock, Schultz, Chafin, Bradley, and Barbosa. Both teams have been raising up the workload as everyone who's starting has been getting 3ab's a game since saturday. They will use a DH today,

    Zona's lineup
    eaton 9
    pennington 6
    teahen 5
    goldschmidt 3
    hinske DH
    Barajas 2
    Snyder 7
    Wilson 4
    Campana 8

    KC lineup

    Gordon 7
    escobar 6
    butler 3
    moustakas 5
    francouer 9
    cain 8
    kottaras 2
    taveras DH

Spring by no means a Science or an Art, and nothing is certain for who plays and for how long, but by all accounts, with everything factored in, I think this is a worthy team playing real loose, getting their new ace back on the bump. This is s half type bet of course this early in spring, but great to start mixing it in. All the best.
