Should offer a nice stop gap until Davidson is ready, But they will need to get a 3B to play vs lefties as Chavez is a massive liability vs them.

As far as the Yankees, giving the 3B job to a poor defender who can't hit probably isn't the solution, but in reality there aren't any FA options out there.

Nunez can hit and will get better defensively.. they just have to play him everyday.He will take over for jeter in a couple of years.. and he steals bases too

and yes, chavez cant hit lefties, you are right.. they have chris johnson as the right handed hitting 3b
