    Utley to have hip surgery, could be out until June

    The Phillies announced Thursday that second baseman Chase Utley will need right hip surgery that potentially could keep him out until the first week of June.

      Wow, as much as I don't really like the Phils, hate to see Utley miss time since I love to watch him play. Maybe the Underachievin's will have a chance next year in the NL East. Nah, I'll jinx the Mets again with a futures play

          Shouldn't be a huge problem. If they don't tank in April/May, which I don't think they will, then they should be fine.

              its undoutedly a matter to worry for the Phillies...... now they must only be praying to get him back...... best of luck guys
