White Sox 52% - Both starters have major concerns for this game, despite having quality reputations. Beckett has been giving up a lot of home runs this year, and he will be especially vulnerable vs the powerful White Sox' lineup. In general, he has gotten hit hard by good lineups on the road this year. Garcia has also been hit recently, and some of his key stats, as well as his radar gun readings, indicate he is likely to be in for some rough times in the near future.

Houston 52% - Reyes has a lot of potential, and this game is shaping up to be another one where Clemens has an effective but short outing and leaves without any run support, leaving the game in the hands of Houston's iffy pen.Comment -
Cleveland 53% - Both starters should have very good games. Bedard's hot streak is for real, and he is likely to have at least a quality start here. Sowers ended his last game on a strong note, and the Baltimore lineup has struggled vs quality lefties so far this year, and is likely to struggle in this game as well. This game will likely be decided by which pitcher is slightly more dominant, and at this point Bedard is more seasoned, while the Baltimore lineup is more likely to falter.
Toronto 56% - Kansas City's recent success is not a mirage, at least for the near future. Elarton can be effective, and the Toronto offense seems tired and sluggish. He is more likely than usual to have a quality start. Lilly is also likely to have a quality start, but the recently capable Kansas City lineup will be dangerous vs the shaky Toronto setup relievers if Lilly doesn't go deep.
Tampa Bay 53% - This is a somewhat dangerous spot for Kazmir. He is less likely than normal to have a strong start, and even if he does, the Yankees are likely to force him into a high pitch count and an early exit, exposing the shaky Tampa Bay pen. Wang, however, is also likely to have some trouble here. He is the kind of pitcher who would tend to have more problems on the turf and indoors, and his 2 starts at Tropicana last season reinforce that notion.
Atlanta 52% - This game, like all the ones between these 2 teams, comes down to who can avoid going to the bullpen first. Here, both starters are likely to match each other inning for inning. Cincinnati does rate a very small edge in both starting pitching and lineup.Comment -
Minnesota 68% - The main question for this game is how Liriano will respond to the heat and dimensions of Ameriquest Field. There's not much to go on, but he has already pitched 3 innings there this year, which were of the same quality he has pitched everywhere else. Rheinecker did have a strong start in his last game vs a powerful lineup, but he is still tinkering with his mechanics, and that is very likely to lead to more of the same wild inconsistency he has demonstrated so far this year. Liriano has been a bit less dominant on the road than at home this year, but he is still likely to have another strong outing, which, when combined with Rheinecker's questions, gives Minnesota a sizable and legitimate egde.Comment -
Angels 54% - Weaver has been great so far, and while after a bit the league is sure to figure out how to hit him better than they have, here in a pitchers' park he is likely to have a strong game. Blanton is also likely to pitch well, as he has had success vs weaker lineups at home. Both pens will be well rested. If Blanton can manage to match Weaver inning for inning, Oakland will have an edge in the end game.Comment -
Detroit 58% - Washburn is an effective starter at home, but Miner and Detroit pose a great challenge to Seattle here. Miner could be vulnerable to the inconsistency that often plagues rookies on the road, but he has not experienced that as yet in his brief time in the majors, and he is likely to have a strong game.Comment -
