Seems like a solid bet. The game is in the NL so he should get 2-3 gimme K's from the pitcher's spot. Most importantly Leyland will live and die with Verlander. Because the bullpen is so questionable we all know Verlander might throw 120+ pitches if needed.

Not necessarily. If there's any runners on for Zitos spot, he'll be bunting and he's one of the best. And if Zito gets in trouble, that spot will be pinch hit for the rest of the game. I would stay away from that K total, not as easy as it seems.

I'm feeling more confident since I hear the ump behind the plate has a high SO rate. Also glad I hit it up when I did because now it's at 7 1/2
