no shit. when Oakland was down 0-2 at +600 the reason the books were offering that price was b/c of Verlander.

i am not the least bit surprised the A's won the last 2 games. And if you take Verlander off the Tigers , the A's are a better team. But Verlander will turn the lights out on the A's tonight.
