This is probably a bad spot to back Detroit unless you believe Oakland has given up. Oakland had the best 2nd half MLB record and have shown resiliency with all the come-from behind victories this year. I don't think they've given up. They roughed up Sanchez in the last outing and now have their most experienced pitcher on the mound. There are questions about whether Anderson has fully recovered from his injury last month but Oakland is a good bet here even as the favorite.

What..... pressure.... umm Oak beat tex 3 times in a row to take the division, becasue they had too. Plus Det is horribe at hitting lefties........ The crowd will be rockin in Oak, Det will fold like a cheap tent for 1 game. Not saying Det wont win the series but, they will forget there bats for game 1. I dont know why you are gving so much respect to Det, the only reason why they are in is Because the Whitesox shit the bed the last 15 games ofth year. It would be a miracle for Det to win tommorow.
