yes, there was a 10* play on Oakland as written and published on the site. I could not log into the forum yesterday afternoon.. gremlins running around I guess.. but with that said, normally, my plays are published on the site as well as here in the thread.

if you can bet Baltimore OVER for just their runs, I like that equally as well as the 20* on the game. BUT NOT both.

Ok, enough of the hype that will be brewing again in the Bronx as we all wait to see how far down the lineup A-Rod will be. Yet, it is a team of 25 players and Baltimore plays as a team of 25. I fully expect them to come roaring back tonight and have a huge offensive outbreak against Yankee starter Hughes.

Joe Saunders will start for Baltimore and he is pitching vastly better than the maligned Hughes. Saunders has posted a 3.26 ERA with a 1.345 WHIP, walking just one batter in his last three starts spanning 19 13/ innings of work. Hughes has posted a 7.16 ERA with a 1.469 WHIP, walking six batters, in his last three starts spanning 16 ? innings. He has allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last three starts.

The line for this game is 8 ½ and my simulator shows a very high probability that 10 or more runs will be scored in this game. There is also a modest probability that the Orioles will score eight on their own merit. If you are able to bet OVER Orioles run total for this game in a prop bet, put it on your baseball selections and nail it hard.

I've got a running total on this thread too.

After the Baltimore loss, John is 7-8 and -4.30 units.

5* 0-1 -8.50 units

Someone please double-check my results and my arithmetic.

According to his SBR page, John has bets on the Tigers for Game 1 and the series. Since he hasn't given a unit amount, I'm going to be tracking these as 10* plays because 13 of his 15 bets in the MLB playoff so far have been 10* bets.

I have to say that he certainly doesn't make it easy to track his results and, given the results of the past three weeks, I'm starting to understand why that might be.

Consistency, transparency and accountability are important in following a system or capper. I'm not seeing enough of any of them right now and following three of his threads (NFL and NCAA Football picks as well as MLB Playoffs).

How in the world could any team, like the phillies or even Boston pass up the opportunity to have A-Rod on their team for a few years. At a cost of less than 7.5 million per year and with the Yankees picking up 87 to 100 million of the remaining contract? There is NO downside to that trade. If he stinks, he gets released.. Both teams could use a third baseman.. even an over the top.. Trump hated one. just FYI.
