Starting Pitchers have been announced its gonna be the NL All Star Starting Pitcher Matt Cain vs Johnny Cueto coming off of 3 Ws in a row all against below PAR teams

    Matt Cain- http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/_/id/6202/matt-cain

Im going to be at the game so what ever I say has no value what so ever because im a homer for the Giants. Loving this match up though

I like the Giants. Man, I wish Halos made it. I'd be sitting on some playoff tickets too.

so the stadium can hold 42,000 but there is gonna be around 44,000 crammed in there. Home field advantages like there are scary as penetrate. Its gonna be so loud

Reds have seen Cain twice this year and have done very well against him.

Its definetly not an easy bet. There isnt anything wrong with backing the Reds in this spot. If the opener was in Cincy then obviously it would be flipped. If your picking the Giants then your picking them because of home field advantage because that is what the line is presenting it's self as. Just homefield advantage. I still like the Giants in this spot but Vegas is setting it based on homefield advantage.

Finally are you the only person from Cincy in this forum? I was wondering how long it would take for someone from Cincy to say something.

Reds fan here.....we love the matchup too. We wanted nothing to do w/St. Louis who will prob win tonite...or Atlanta either for that matter. Take our chances w/your wimpy lineup minus Melky. That being said....the Reds are hackers so I wouldn't be shocked if they K'd 12x a game and lost the series. No bets for me....but SF is their best matchup imo.
