This will sound stupid for sure, but aren´t the runs in baseball the thing that attracts the audience? Recently, last few days (weeks) it´s under after under /for example today´s 1pm games... I´m not following baseball that much, so I suppose good pitching overweighs good hitting in terms of "what a good game should look like"..
