There's been alot of talk lately about A-Rod not being a true Yankee and that he is not a clutch hitter. He does get alot of garbage hits/home runs when the game is out of reach. Are Yankees fans and the media being fair to A-Rod?

Well when your paying that much to one player, you expect production. And Alex Rodriguez hasnt been doing that lately. He will come around, but New York fans expect it more often then not. And RIGHT NOW. He hasnt been constant, and has been making a few errors at 3rd Base. So I think they have their beef.Comment -

Clutch or not, 2 HRs and 7 RBI will please the fans......for the time being. Maybe give them the hope he is coming out of his slump.
Did they slip in a new type of baseball he can blame his slump on.

I think A-rod is still the most complete player in the game. One that can beat you with HR's, singles and even steals.
Only other player I can think of right now is Beltran.

The dude is the total package..Forget the $$$..There are guys like Allan Houston getting 20 million from the Knicks without even suiting up..At the end of the year, theguys stats will not only be impressive but he will carry this team into the post season..Comment -
