SF/SD OV 7 -110
I really like the over here. There has been a trend I have been following for the last couple of months and it's to simply play the over when SF plays a team coming of a loss on the road. The situation this year stands at 31-9-2 OV with an average total of 7.9 and average runs of 10.7.
What's really intriguing about this over, is SF and SD have meet in this particular situation 4 times this year...all going over by an average run margin of 4.5 runs!
6/5 Lincecum/ Bass (total 6) 5-6 over
6/7 Cain/Marquis (total 6.5) 8-3 over
8/18 Zito/Stults (total 7.5) 8-7 over
8/19 Vogelsong/Richard (total 7) 1-7 over
It's odd to me the oddsmaker's haven't adjusted here. In general SF have been a gold mind on ROAD overs this year (48-25-2 O/U). When Ryan Vogelson starts on the road the Giants are 10-4 O/U this year with an average total of 8 and run average of 10.8.
I am taking my chances on the over here with a unit bet....gl!!
