Kelly has a live young arm, and while the Giants are coming off a sweep and rounding into their typical postseason form right now, Vogelsong's completely lost it. -155 against a divisional foe for a guy who has a career 7.47 ERA vs. the Pads and who's given up 35 ER in his last 29.1 IP?

MIL +115 at Washington. Marcum hasn't won since early June and has looked a little shaky coming back from the DL, but Edwin Jackson's always fadeable and the Brewers are the hottest team this side of Baltimore right now.

TOR +196 at Tampa Bay. Holy inflated line. I know the Rays are the superior team, but Villanueva's been an incredibly consistent starter for Toronto. Just wish Tampa hadn't pulled that miracle win out of their hat tonight; would've made this play a lot tastier. I'll still take my chances at this price.

I had a unit on the Pads today. What looked like an easy W turned into a one-run game. The bases were loaded with no outs at the bottom of the ninth. To Black's credit, he used five different relievers to close it out. So you have to factor in the emotional high of the win (a good spot for a let down) in addition to the tired bp. If you're going to take the Pads tomorrow (I'm not), be sure to check their bp status and know their starter has to go strong and deep into the game.

Vogelsong recently hasn't been anywhere near what he was producing for the first 4 months of the season. He has been very hittable in his past 7 starts, with an ERA of over 10 in that span of games. So Padres should be able to register a few runs today.

However, Giant bats are also hot, having scored 52 runs in their last 10 home games. AT&T will be buzzing as always, especially with the Giants on the verge of making the postseason. It's highly possible that the Giants produce with the bat again tonight. That's without mentioning that the Pads have a rookie pitcher on the mound who has been roughed up in 2 of his 3 big league starts.

It is for that reason that I am going with OVER 7.5 runs at + money.
