The M's bet -- 1U on the RL at -120 and 1U on the ML at +132 -- reminds me why this sport is just stupid to bet on sometimes. I go from having a big night to a losing one. If they'd lost like the Rockies did, fine. But I don't know how many times I can beat the closer and be on the right side of a bet, only to have someone hit a dribbler up the middle to score the tying runs in the 9th before losing in extras on a bet that becomes nothing more than a 50/50 coin flip for no real reason whatsoever.

I can handle losing legitimately. Bad calls happen. Trust me, I've made plenty of them this season. But games like these makes you wonder why you do it at all.

At least I beat the closer again. According to my records, I'm hitting a little under 47% of my baseball bets this season despite BTCL almost 3 times out of 4. And that 47% doesn't including the times I didn't BTCL and still won. So I've got that important part of the game going for me.
