          Well Downs is a good relief pitcher but he hasn't have to pitch past 2 innings in a while so he might get blasted here soon.

              well.. they ruined that chance.. chris carter needs to find a new job... he hit into a DP.. RALLY KILLER!

              Part-time Carter isn't as good as full-time Carter. In the last 10 games, Carter has been splitting time at first base with Brandon Moss and it has resulted in Carter going 1-for-16 and producing no runs for the A's. It has been a revolving door at first all year, and with Carter struggling, you can expect Moss to continue to see more action.

                I just gotta say.. I think Oakland has used up all their magic. They didn't have a problem stranding runners on bases a month ago.. West Coast Yankees?
