It's amazing how some people are living in some alternate reality in which the economy was perfect during the 90's. How much of this country's wealth during the 90's were in stock options of dot coms that were soon to be worthless? I know lots of people who's "salary" was almost entirely stock options and were wiped out almost overnight.
