Interesting. Someone offered to sell me 40-45 of them earlier today for a good price.

On another forum right now contemplating if I should do it or not.

what's a good price? don't expect to get rich from bitcoin though. people that became millionaires from bitcoin got them for pennies and sold them for $1000 couple years back.

this day and age, just be happy to make some profit from it. don't expect to get rich.

I hear you. I was the same way but I have gotten used to bitcoin and it's not that bad. Cash is always best but unfortunately nowadays we have to deal with cyber money.

Wouldn't the rise in price be due, at least in part, to the expectation that some miners operating on a tight margin will have to stop mining when the Halving happens? Leading to a temporary scarcity of coins?
So people buying up big now (China mainly apparently, but probably other speculators as well) are expecting a good return when the Halving reduces the number of coins being mined.
Eventually, I suppose miners will find more efficient ways to mine, and coins will be produced faster or cheaper, and the value then drops again, but that could take months/years to happen.

lol you have nothing positive to say about bitcoin? most likely because you don't have any. bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies. everything is based on bitcoin. most traders trade other cryptocurrencies eventually to possess more bitcoin. that's the bottom line.
