Trump slaughtered the competition, if you can even call the others competition in
the Slate, Bloomberg, Time & Drudge polls. All Trump detractors get ready to brace
yourselves a Trump landslide is inevitable.

That's the current odds. At 13% odds to win nomination, Nate Silver is bearish on Trump's odds. It's illusory. http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/w...er-the-debate/

I'll put my money on Nate Silver. At 17%, Marco Rubio is probably the best value on the board.

Please say you don't mean that.
H-P's stock, which has gone nowhere for her 5 years and was down two-thirds from its peak in
2000, rose almost 7 percent after earlier soaring almost 11 percent on the news of her ouster.
The thing is, Carly Fiorina has a long track record of saying things that are cringeworthy. And getting fired.

It's worth noting, too, that after being fired by HP five years ago, no other company has hired her.
No one would hire her she couldn't get a job so she takes her 50 million dollar 'Golden Parachute &
funds her disastrous senate campaign losing to B Boxer in a landslide & by the way actually ridiculed
B Boxers looks while at it.

Let us not forget, after all, that when she was an advisor to the McCain presidential
campaign, she embarrassed the candidate twice and was dropped like a rock.

Then she has the nerve to run for the senate.
So, Carly Fiorina's two big supposed credentials for being a U.S. Senator are that she was
              1) a CEO and 2) an advisor to a presidential campaign. And she was fired from both.

Carly Fiorina's pattern. Get whatever she can for herself, and everyone else be damned.
But then, what else do you expect from someone who cut 30,000 jobs and then takes
a $42 million gold parachute for failing?

I think she's nuts, no people skills & you want her a president, good grief!

Never said once that I want her as a president. Have not decided on that yet, and am in no hurry to decide since I have until March. I'm stating that her debate performance, and the coverage it has gotten on the news, is going to spark a rise in the polls. More than likely, it will come from the "outsider" vote which means Trump or Carson would suffer. Seeing that in initial polls are showing that people believe that Trump held his own, it only figures to me that Carson will be the one to suffer. Now, the next question will be whether Fiorina can continue to ride this wave.

Nice write up. She came off as a c unt to me. A woman on a mission to destroy Trump.

Didn't like her answer dealing with Putin. They met, but he must've dissed her in some way, because she didn't
want to talk to him but beef up our military on his borders. A female war monger.

Didn't like how she wouldn't look Donnie in the eye when blasting him. The way she kept blinking and looking away
during policy discussions showed me she was full of shit.

How the hell does Fiorina stand up on the stage and talk tough about the Iran deal, sanctions etc - while she was in charge HP was illegally selling to Iran?

This is a 7+ year old story - yet none of the 138 other on stage candidates (or moderators) called her out on this?

Her foreign policy experience she lauds is tainted with anti-American directives while calling the shots
at HP. Outsourcing 30,000 American jobs & skirting around & defying Iran US sanctions. And I'm being
charitable to her by saying Fiorina is an absolutely anti-American selfserving uncommonly loathsome creature.
If any of the other candidates on either side moved & lived next me me I'd try to be neighborly. If Fiorina lived next to me I'd move!

They never call them out on stuff like that. It's almost looks like a little game they play like you don't bring certain things about me and I won't say certain things.

I get why you are but that's why I don't like him. He is too smooth talking for my liking. Reminds me of Obama with memorized speeches. That and his stance on Cuba.

... the one intelligent thing about him. Other than that there are better nominations to throw up against Biden.

I agree. I don't like him as a candidate. I actually think he would make a better Secretary of State. I liked his answers in the debate about foreign policy. I just feel Carson and Fiorina are going to fade, which makes Rubio next man up among the "insiders".

come on brooks. 54 years embargo is insane. 70 miles from Florida. Let it go and get with the 20th century already. Castro's are on their last legs. and don't fall into the liberal logic trap. Germany, Japan and China are nothing like Cuba. China is a haven compared to Cuba, if you know the facts.

of course they aren't nothing like Cuba. All those countries are different from each other. My point is we deal with those countries and have been for a while despite past differences. Yes, I know Castro's son will be taking over. He is not like his father.

What is your issue with normalizing relations with Cuba?

Well, the point is Germany, Japan and China actually have a lot in common. Cuba is nothing like those countries and we just ensured they will never be. Giving more money to a tyrannical government isn't going to help the people.

it will be a great opportunity for American businesses the way I see it. It will likely be Obama's legacy no no doubt. His failed presidency will have this as his greatest achievement. Obama aside, I have been saying the Cuban embargo is ridiculous for as long as I remember.
