it was a strange line. king felix was -175 just a month a go vs tex, sea got nelson cruz back, and this is tex last game of a long road trip.

line didn't make sense. initial thought was sea 1st 5. always stick with your initial thought. even in tests. sometimes too much critical thinking can lead to unnecessary mindfukks. oh well on to the next...

Everything looked good about that game for the Cardinals on paper, sometimes good teams just lay an egg, like the Rangers also did last night. Cardinals were coming off a big come from behind victory over Cubs so they had good momentum, obviously the better pitcher on the hill and a much more potent lineup. They're kinda in a funk right now. Lost back to back series before this one. They're too good to keep getting blown out like this. They have the Reds and Brewers in back to back series so when they bust out, they might peel off 4 or 5 wins in a row. Could be tomorrow with Lackey on the hill, he's a gamer even when he doesn't have his best stuff. Garcia is kinda an anomaly to be honest, he's either lights out or gets rocked, luckily for him and the Cards he's on more than he's off.
