How to Join
- Sign in to the Beat The Prick SBR contest page with your SBR username (if you do not already have an SBR username, create one here).
- Verify your phone number as instructed. Click Enter!
- The contest opens on Tuesday, September 8th & runs for the first 16 NFL weeks (closing end of day Monday, December 28).
How to play
- The object of the game is to compete against "The Prick". The Prick will make 5 picks on NFL or NCAAF sides or totals by 5PM ET Tuesday of each week. The sides/totals he selects will be taken off the board.
- You must make 5 plays each week to be eligible for that week's free play prize, and must have made 65 total plays (participated for 13 weeks) to be eligible for the $30,000 in cash prizes.
- You must make one 2-unit best bet each week. All other plays will be based on one unit.
- You must beat The Prick to win. If The Prick scores +3.00 in a given week and you score +3.10 you will have beaten The Prick. If The Prick goes 5-0 that week, nobody wins. Players must have a positive score to earn prizes.

1. All contestants will be asked to verify their phone number when joining the contest. An auto-message will be sent via SMS or voice containing a unique PIN which must be entered to join the contest.
2. Multiple entries per household are prohibited. SBR reserves the right to disqualify users who attempt to gain more than one entry in the contest or who otherwise attempt to cheat and violate the basic good faith of the contest.
3. SBR employees who work out of SBR headquarters as well as members of their family are ineligible to claim any real-money prizes.
