Hitlery won already. We have to revolt. Unite now, argue later. Our positions won't matter until we become one.

Hillary is like the Patriots a few years ago when they were in the Super Bowl going for 19-0 against the NYG. We all know what happened.

It would be interesting to see how Sanders would do. I think Jeb Bush would beat him easily. I think he might could beat Walker. Rubio probably would win narrowly.

I think Rubio is just a younger version of the same ole narrow minded stale republican ideology.

As for Jeb, he just can't be president because of his last name. I know its probably not fair but life's not fair. If your last name was Hitler and you wanted to run for office in Germany today, what chance do you think you would have?

In no way am I equating GWB with Hitler btw.

One thing people underestimate with Bush is the undersampling. Just as people don't want to admit they will not vote for a black guy, Republicans do not want to admit they support Bush. Republicans love W and Bush term is quite attractive especially once you get some good propaganda going.

I think Bush is going to do a McCain and wind up winning the thing.

Rubio is too much of a pipsqueak to be president. Between him and Hillary, people know Hillary would kick his ass.

really? Is that really how people think still in 2015? Let me rephrase, of course there will always be a few that do, but do you really think there are enough to affect any election?

Definitely. Black candidates typically underperform the polls by 10% I believe. A lot of speculation that the British polls were way off because people didn't want to admit they support the Tories.

well society has made strides but looks like we have a long ways to go still. Hard to believe that where you were born and the color your were born still in large part determines the level of your future success.

did you guys know that bernie is the only politician running for president that has a positive favorability rating? don't accept the corporate narrative that bernie can't win. to accept that is to throw in the towel on democracy.

does message matter? or is the only thing that matter is can you get the elites to bankroll your campaign to the tune of 2 billion so you can run 30 second attack ads that convince dumbasses to vote against their interests?

because that's what they mean (the corporate media when talking about how bernie will certainly lose). they mean that message doesn't matter. they think the only thing that matters is money and advertising (aka convincing nitwits to be uncle toms).

I think that even you would agree that is only matters if you favor that person.

Obama's approval rating is lower than GWB (for good reason) but does that matter to Obama supporters?

The Presidency is mostly a popularity contest backed by billionaires nowadays. Its a sham. Its a scam. If you know it, then show it. Hey look, I'm a poet and didn't know it.

Repeal citizens united and maybe that will change. Until then, the White House is for sale to the highest bidder.

Sanders is the kind of guy that wins after an 80% stock market crash and 25% unemployment. Americans are still hoping that giving the rich what they want will deliver them. Sanders would freak them out. The Republicans would kill him with propaganda. He could keep it close because their candidates are so bad. But an avowed socialist as no chance.

hillary isn't a lock to win. she's a terrible candidate when you really look at her. she doesn't have a very authentic way about her. she's gaffe prone. bernie can easily make her look like the corporatist she is. wall st loves her and is bankrolling her. her husband's deregulation and wall st blowing is what caused the crash. she'll never admit that.

if bernie does well in iowa, then goes and wins new hampshire (which is possible), bernie could actually win the nomination. people want real change and bernie will certainly bring that, provided he has a majority in congress.

i am not buying the whole 'hillary the populist' thing. if bernie doesn't win and the center of hillary's campaign isn't single payer, jobs/infrastructure, free college, overturn citizens united, i'll vote for jill stein or some shit. i don't penetrating care if that means president scott walker. that's what to people deserve; some dickhead koch-shill.

I don't think Bernie even wants to win. He is the Howard Dean. Dean showed the Dems how they needed to campaign and then Kerry took his campaign and won the nomination. They are just tuning Hillary up.

Dems absolutely are not going to vote for him. Hillary is actually very popular with Dems when you look at the numbers. They just want her to be a little more like Bernie.

i disagree. i think with all of the propaganda these dumbasses would actually vote for some extreme right-winger if another crash happened. the propagandists would just blame it on liberals and obama and half the country would accept that.

and he's not an avowed socialist. he's a democratic socialist. people don't really know what that means, but when some 60 y/o white guy from kentucky hears bernie hammer these 10-15 issues over and over (that have massive support from the public BTW), he's eventually going to say "i like bernie sanders. he's authentic and i agree with him on all these issues. i'm going to vote for him." provided that fascist propaganda isn't so entrenched and that society isn't so dumbed down that the redneck from kentucky isn't capable of having even a basic level of inner dialogue.

should be interesting to see this thing play out. do people do their own thinking or do they rely on the fascists in the media to tell them what to think? because if they do their own thinking i suspect millions of working-class conservatives are going to wake up on morning and say, "damn, i like bernie sanders. WTF goes on here? does that make Me a socialist?"

The word socialist is good enough to ruin him. Look at the freakout over Obama and he's a 1970s Republican.

I don't think Sanders could win Florida or Ohio in a general election.

In a crash, it's possible that the country could turn right wing. But at that point, society has already been liquidated so there is nothing left but socialism. You either get a socialist or a military takover. 50-50 chance either way.

of course bernie wants to win. of course he can win (clearly a long shot but if the people get active it's certainly possible, dare i say, likely). the only reason why howard dean lost steam was because the corporate media deemed him unelectable after he screamed into a microphone too loudly (that's actaully a great example of how powerful the media is and how if they don't want you, it's nearly possible to win).
