Bulls play good defense is a misconception, they used to play good defense in recent years, now they play ordinary defense.
Lakers play shit defense, LA an Minnesota are the worst, both teams play brutal defense, they play pretty much no defense.
LA gives up 110 points per 100 possessions and the Bulls score 106 points per 100 possessions.
ESPN.com's John Hollinger has ranked every team by every stat possible in this impressive ESPN insider series. Sort by NBA offensive officiency, sort by turnover ratio, the choice is yours!

If this is your plan then why not just bet the 1Q under?

Had a big bet on the 1Q under. Now straight up rooting for you, Nasher. Would have liked to have gotten a good live over but was too busy to look (woman).

The Lakers literally rolled over and died in that fourth quarter.
A bunch of grown-ass man just standing around acting like they were at the Y instead of being paid millions of dollars to play a game.
Pathetic.

I love basketball. I am constantly amazed by the athleticism and skill of today's NBA player.
With that being said, I will reiterate: this is a garbage product we're watching these days. Guys making tens/hundreds of millions in guaranteed money with rot-gut/indifference toward winning and losing. The effort you see a direct reflection of how big contracts have destroyed basketball.
Long story short: when it comes to some run-of-the-mill NBA regular season game, these guys couldn't give a f\*\*k less.

Yeah man you had it capped right. Beating those total #s in short card, nationally televised games is really really tough. It's one of the best days of the year (if you can) to sit back and bet the totals live. Same thing with the Knicks game this am. Everyone and their Mother hammering under 192 and, walllaaah, game ends at 193. Opening # 194 under wins and almost everyone loses. The live under could have been had at under 201.5 after the 1Q for a more stress free watching.
Keep doing what you're doing. Just stay away from those short cards.

If you're going to risk playing totals, live seems to be the way to go.
In fact, live betting period in the NBA seems to be the way to go. Lines always wind up "sharp," which means you can get some really egregious numbers in-game.
