Loved watching Mark Price shoot the ball, and Drexler was awesome when he matured (never seen anyone so good with so little arc on their shot), Reggie was also awesome and you cannot have this conversation without mentioning Ray Allen.

Curry will most likely be recognized as the best....when he gets hot, I have never seen anyone that can stroke it like that.

Ah, yes.... the Clyde Drexler flat shot. Holy crap, if he could have put a little air under his shot he could have been the best. I live in Portland and saw Clyde in person a few times in non-basketball situations. I've never seen anyone just walk with such fluidity. His Clyde "the glide" was a very fitting nickname.

Also, I agree with Ray Allen needing the mention on this list. He has the quickest/best stroke I've ever seen. Curry is in good position to take the crown if he keeps up his current body of work. At 42 I'm just a bit too young to clearly remember but I know there would some smooth shooters a generation ago - Mark Aquire, Alex English, George Gervin, Jamal Wilkes.... I'm sure I'm leaving off a bunch of obvious ones.

None of those guys were as good of shooters as Curry, or had as fluid of a shot.

After watching ever era of basketball, I have to say I think Kevin Durant has the smoothest J I've ever seen.

                                                  Dell Curry could stroke it.

Steph is probably the best I've ever seen though.

Honestly, I should have clarified my thread better. (I was drunk in a bar. lol) He's the deadliest outside shooter I've ever seen.

I have never seen a shooter, that can score from long range as well as he does, with any coverage on him, better than him.

Bird was 6'9 while Curry is 6'3 and it doesn't matter the size of the guy covering Steph. It's sick how quick he can create his shot over a bigger guy and score.

I have never seen a shooter, that can score from long range as well as he does, with any coverage on him, better than him.
