no. that was chicago v los angeles last yr

it was 2011 that san jose made the west finals then got smashed by vancouver 4-1

i live on the west coast. i root for this team as i like joe thornton and believe he's paid his dues

i have no faith though. doubt creeps into their minds especially joe, and when the rest of the team sees it they follow

they were hot as hell going into the west finals 2011 then vancouver wiped the ice with them in 5 games

unacceptable

they have only missed the playoffs once, yes just once, since the 97 season

in that time, 16 or whatever years, they have been a top 3 seed numerous times,

only made the west finals twice in that time

you do not need a great goalie to win the cup. big misnomer. you need a hot goalkeeper. very good goalies, not great ones, but very good ones, have gotten hot during the cup playoffs and won it. too many examples over the years
