Why make a thread when you can have your bitches do it for you?
But yeah, I'm interested in making a system. I've started my back-testing journey and it's pretty interesting. I'll use this thread for whenever I have a question or feel like sharing something I've found.
For right now, the main question I have is: is it better to have a system that has high units-per-play, or one with high units-over-time? For example, I made a system that is +31.92u since the 06-07 season, but has 635 plays. I also made another one that is +29.57u since the 06-07 season, but has only 436 plays. The second system appears more consistent, so I was thinking it was better, but then again the first system made more money... so I guess the first system is better? I don't really know.
Obviously it's not worth showing off my measly systems at this time because +30u in 10 years is pretty lame. But hey it's a start.Comment
