Will be eyeballing AU 2nd half as I think it will be tight in the first and will pull away in 2nd, as it's essentially a home game for Tigers.
Vandy is tempting as that knot one gets in their stomach when considering backing a team like Vandy usually suggests the right side... lol. This may be a case of false perception as one team is so high and the other so low. As OG Porkchop has pointed out, this line has moved an enormous amount. Second year coach usually makes a huge difference and Vandy was extremely young and inexperienced last year. How many Jimmy's and Joe's are going to see that high powered offense of W Ky and look at that dangling nugget of -2.5, and say, "just need to be a fg better vs a pathetic, bottom dwelling Vandy?" KVB - I know you're busy, but what are the chances you can do a post-mortem on the money flow in this Illinois St. game? Line was 9.5 last night then jumped to 11. This morning it went up to 14 about two hours before game time and then quickly dropped back to 9.5.Comment -
Uber pist I failed to get back on Illini as thought game time was 2 central, not eastern. Started these comments and realized game underway:
I like teams losing coaches and players, as the opposite side often becomes overvalued. Think Illini D should be much stronger and let's face it, Illinois is not winning any popularity contests.

This is a little wierd. Not every house jumped the line like that. It seemed pretty stable. I'm just not sure. Could have been an over reaction by 5 Dimes and then copied at a couple of other places.
We need a week or two to get underway to try to determine where what type of money sits. Then I'll have more input. Yesterday I picked up a couple of live lines...BYU +9.5 and Florida St -32.5. Not a whole lot of analysis behind them outside of perception, paid some vig, but I got lucky.
Good write-ups Guy. The first two weeks of the season can be both the easiest time to bet and the toughest. We should see some overreactions in next weeks lines, but it's still so early in the season that surprise teams are yet to show themselves.
