o/u 0.5 1st inning plays

First and foremost, thank you lep for your thread and introduction to the first inning handicapping game. I posted a few of my picks along with my thoughts in your thread here ( http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...ing-plays.html ) but after receiving a few messages from other members regarding my system, I've decided to open this thread. I hope you are ok with this!

It is very similar to lep's system, but my system usually generates an average of three picks a day. It is based strictly on technical factors and does not take players (past) performances in to account. As a matter of fact I had an over signal o that Kershaw/Stras game, an over not many of us would've had the balls to take. The algorithm I use is pretty complicated and I honestly do not feel like going in to detail about it. I'll do my best to post my picks every day and will usually have them ready right around 5dimes (or shortly before they) post their lines.

My money management is a bit different than the norm. I risk a set % of my bankroll per bet (no matter where the line is!). I am going to bet an average of 3 bets a day using this system and a max of two other bets per day with standard bets. My max daily risk will be set to 18%/BR, 5% per "1st inning o/u" bet and a maximum 1.5% for each of the other two bets. So with that said, my daily return was .45 units of BR on my first day.

Bankroll at start: $700.00
Record: 2-1
Total RoI: 2.25%
Bankroll day 1: $715.75

I will post Thursdays pick(s) later today and will be risking $35.79 (5%/BR) tomorrow.

Nice thread! I'm contemplating taking it. I know the pitchers don't seem that great but I tend to believe in the contrarian play. I'm leaning towards putting 0.25-0.5u on it. Will let you know.

Actually, I've had great experience riding hot streak out while slightly increasing my VaR and doing the complete opposite when my system isn't streaking.

BTW, HOU/KC in the books. Close one, but we got it. Mang, thanks for taking it. I would've stayed on the sidelines here!
