Yeah, let's roll the dice here on the exact dual forecast. First, this rules out the DR Congo and the debutant, Uzbekistan, from serious consideration for one of the top two spots. And, that's fair.
Portugal's midfield is one of the best in the world. It might be the best in the world. Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Bruno Fernandes would be the envy of any nation and are a lethal combination of defensive screening, visionary passing, and full-throttle energy. Portugal has shown the ability to shift from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 depending on what their opponent throws at them. Oh yeah, and Ronaldo. The team is fronted by all-world, all-time Cristiano Ronaldo. The "to win all group games" market has Portugal at +200, which is probably worth a look, too.
Colombia enters a little shaky, which is why I think they won't be able to overcome Portugal for first in the group. Losses to Croatia and France in March raise questions about how predictable the team sometimes looks, but recent victories over Costa Rica (3-1) and Jordan (2-0) suggest that when it faces softer competition in DR Congo and Uzbekistan, it should be able to dominate.
