📅 World Cup 2026: Group C schedule

The schedule for Group B plays out mostly in pretty favorable conditions for most teams: the Atlantic northeast should have the least extreme temperatures, won't have altitude issues, and travel between venues is limited compared to some groups.

  • June 13 -> Brazil vs. Morocco (MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J.)
  • June 13 -> Haiti vs. Scotland (Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.)
  • June 19 -> Scotland vs. Morocco (Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.)
  • June 19 -> Brazil vs. Haiti (Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia)
  • June 24 -> Scotland vs. Brazil (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Fla.)
  • June 24 -> Morocco vs. Haiti (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta)

⚽ World Cup 2026: Group C best bets

Group C exact dual forecast: Brazil - 1st / Morocco - 2nd (+100)

Brazil is expected to employ a different tactic this time around than in previous World Cups, with Vini Jr. telling CazeTV that they're "...going to defend very well and try to hit on the counterattack. That’s what the coach always asks from us.” That should suit Vini and Raphinha just fine, both of whom excel in space rather than in tighter quarters.

Brazil opens with Morocco, and a counter attack is the perfect counter to Morocco's attacking full backs. Those attacking full backs end up creating huge pockets of space that you simply can't leave to a player like Vini.

Scotland and Haiti both aren't on the same level as Brazil, but a quick breakdown of why they don't stand a chance. Scotland's best chance to score is probably through a set piece - a pillar of their game - but Brazil's defenders (Gabriel and Marquinhos) are huge bodies in the box, having the edge in physical-aerial battles. Haiti does most of its work on the counter-attack, something Brazil is expressly setting up to avoid being stung with by employing its own "defend first, attack second" plan for the tournament. They're +110 to win all group games, but the biggest concern here is that by the time Haiti rolls around, they'll be playing a dead rubber.

Morocco emerged as a shocker in 2022, beating Spain and Portugal in the knockout rounds en route to a fourth-place finish. The No. 8 team in the FIFA world ranks, Morocco should have a path to the second seed after Brazil pretty clearly. Scotland is set up as a "difficult team to beat" - it plays a low block with a compact shape and narrow midfield. That type of setup plays directly into what Morocco is looking for, with its players pushed wide. It allows Hakimi and Mazraoui to carry from the back, recycle wide, and find open spaces when Scotland shifts.

As for Haiti, their double pivot of Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Leverton Pierre will have their hands full with midfielder El Aynaoui, who is excellent at pressing the opponent before they can distribute properly. That's about Haiti's only hope, and it's a slim one at the very best. Ayanoui's whole job for the game will be to shut down the pivots before they can release vertical passes to Isidor and co., and it's a battle he'll win.

🔬 SBR EDGE

The pick: Group C exact dual forecast: Brazil - 1st / Morocco - 2nd (+100)

The why: Two of the top 10 teams in the world, this outcome should hit if Brazil sticks to the plan of defending first and countering, which sets up to nullify Morocco's attacking full backs.
