They won five of seven Champions League matches at home last season, and one defeat came in the quarterfinals against rampant Barcelona. Meanwhile, Manchester United are winless in four, with their previous victory coming against relative minnows Sabah in the Champions League.

Manchester United have scored at least once in seven of their previous eight matches in all competitions, and I believe they’ll find a way to penetrate an Atletico Madrid side that have conceded at least once in six of their last eight games.
Atletico are also Over machines, with eight of nine games in all competitions seeing at least three goals. Simeone’s side is rolling offensively, scoring at least twice in eight of nine matches since the campaign kicked off.
Julian Alvarez goal or assist (-105 via FanDuel)
Alvarez was out of the lineup for two matches with a muscular injury, but returned to the lineup for Atletico’s 2-1 La Liga win over Real Madrid on Sept. 21.
He’s had two cameo appearances and featured in all three Argentina matches during the international break, scoring once.
He’ll be back to full fitness for Tuesday’s match, and Alvarez has been historically excellent in the Champions League, scoring six goals in the previous nine matches while adding three assists. That’s a goal contribution in every match over that sample size.
