Saturday's 14-game slate is loaded with prime betting opportunities as I make my NHL predictions today. In this betting preview, I'll be targeting Predators at Senators, Wild at Panthers, and Blue Jackets at Blues.
I'm taking Senators moneyline today. Ottawa is 3-1 and hosts the Predators, with goaltender Linus Ullmark posting a stout 1.13 GAA to keep the Senators undefeated in his appearances. I also have two more moneyline bets on road underdogs to round out Saturday's betting card.

💰 NHL best bet today
Senators moneyline (-155 via BetMGM)
Ottawa will play its second home game of the season. The Senators have a big advantage with Ullmark patrolling the crease, posting 1 shutout and allowing only 3 goals across 3 starts.
Juuse Saros is expected in net for the Predators. The veteran netminder has bounced between good and bad starts, sitting with a 2.72 GAA and a .915 save percentage.
Tim Stützle leads the offensive charge for the Senators. I expect Ottawa to wind up with a 3-2 win, as Nashville's offense will be tested against Ullmark.
Go to BetMGM and bet on the Senators moneyline at -155 odds.
📡 SBR Edge: Streakin' Sens
The Senators have won four consecutive games as a betting favorite after a win.

Wild moneyline (+117 via bet365)
Led by Quinn Hughes and Kirill Kaprizov, the Wild will look to get back on track against a Panthers team that has failed to score more than 2 goals in back-to-back contests.
Jesper Wallstedt will draw the start for the Wild, holding opponents to a .927 save percentage and 1.98 GAA. Jacob Markstrom has been stout for the Panthers, allowing 4 total goals on 51 shots faced in 3 starts.
The Panthers have lost 4 straight home games as betting favorites against Central Division opponents. The Wild have dropped two straight, so I'm backing the more desperate side with a ton of scoring talent to prevail.
Go to bet365 to bet on the Wild moneyline at +117 odds.
Blue Jackets moneyline (+114 via FanDuel)
I really like this spot for the Blue Jackets. Columbus is facing a Blues offense that has scored just 5 goals in its previous 3 contests.
The Blue Jackets have won 5 straight matchups against the Blues, dating back to 2024. Columbus has scored 3+ goals in 2 of its 3 games played this season, coming off a solid 3-2 home win over the Penguins on Friday night.
The rest advantage goes to the Blues. However, the Blue Jackets have won each of their last 4 games as an underdog with a rest disadvantage.
Bet on the Blue Jackets' moneyline at +114 odds on FanDuel.
