The St. Louis Blues are small favorites to extend their 14-game home winning streak and stave off elimination from the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight when they host the Winnipeg Jets (8 p.m. ET; TNT, TruTV, CBC, and Sportsnet).

Schenn is in the headlines for his controversial hit on Scheifele in Game 5, but you could also argue that he’s been St. Louis’ most dangerous player in the series. Despite spending 26 minutes in the penalty box (the most time in the sin bin for any forward in the Stanley Cup playoffs), the Blues captain ranks first on the team in both expected goals and unblocked high-danger chances.

After delivering a two-point performance the last time the Blues were at home, Schenn is an appealing choice with FanDuel’s +162 odds to crack the scoresheet again tonight.

🚨 Adam Lowry Over 0.5 goals ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vladislav Namestnikov moved up to Winnipeg’s first line after Scheifele was injured in Game 5, and he’s expected to fill the void of the Jets’ sniper once again tonight.

While that might lead many to back Namestnikov player props in Game 6, don’t overlook the additional opportunity that Lowry will receive as well. The Jets captain ranks third among Winnipeg forwards in shots on goal in this series, leads the team in expected goals, and saw more than 19 minutes of ice time in Game 5.

I’m most interested in the Over 1.5 on Lowry shot props, but odds on those were hard to find as of Friday morning. Instead, I’ll take a flyer on Lowry to score a goal at bet365’s generous +700 price.

🚨 Jordan Kyrou Under 2.5 shots ⭐⭐

Although he has two power-play goals in the series, Kyrou has struggled to generate much against the tight-checking Jets in 5-on-5 play. He’s managed two shots or less in four straight games and enters tonight’s action with a team-worst minus-5 rating.

Going back to the regular season, Kyrou has been held under three shots in six of his last seven meetings with the Jets. In an elimination game, expect Winnipeg’s defense to keep a close eye on Kyrou once again tonight.
