My NBA player props today feature Donovan Clingan Over 9.5 rebounds (-137), as his line is too low - even if Victor Wembanyama plays. My next NBA best bet is LeBron James Over 8.5 assists (+102). He has recorded 10 or more assists in eight of his last 10 games without Luka Doncic. My final pick is Paul George Under 2.5 three-pointers made (+112), as he has gone under this line in four straight games.

Donovan Clingan Over 9.5 rebounds (-137) vs. Spurs

If Wembanyama plays Friday, he may be more cautious around the rim, which could open up additional rebounding opportunities for Clingan.

If he sits, Clingan would benefit from facing weaker competition on the boards. Either way, there is value on Clingan to record 10+ rebounds regardless of Wembanyama's availability.

Caesars lists Clingan Over 9.5 rebounds at -137, but this bet is good up to -165 on the best sports betting sites. I previously posted this bet (at better odds) in C Jackson Cowart's Victor Wembanyama injury update.

LeBron James Over 8.5 assists (+102) at Rockets

James going Over on his assists without Doncic has been one of my favorite edges lately.

Doncic, James, and Austin Reaves lead the Lakers in assists per game this season, and James could be the only one of the three playing tonight. He recorded 13 assists in Game 1 and has dished out 10 or more in eight of his last 10 games without Doncic.

James Over 8.5 assists is +102 at FanDuel, but I would play this up to -120 on the best NBA betting sites.

Paul George Under 2.5 three-pointers (+112) vs. Celtics

I'm impressed this is available at plus odds. George has made two or fewer 3-pointers in four straight games and has attempted a total of just seven in this series.

A very popular - and profitable - betting angle is to take Celtics opponents under their team total when Boston is coming off a loss, so why would we bet Overs on 76ers players tonight?

FanDuel lists his Under 2.5 three-pointers made at +112, but I'd play this up to -105 on the best sports betting apps. Meanwhile, our Shane Thurston targets two Boston players in his Celtics vs. 76ers player props.

💡 How I'm betting NBA player props today

I put 1.37 units on Clingan's rebounding prop in Portland - my standard sizing for a player prop - because I like the bet directionally and think the line is mispriced. That said, the number isn't far enough off from where I'd set it to justify going heavier. If I thought I had a larger edge, I would risk up to 2.5 units, and in a rare, high-conviction spot, I'd go as high as 5.
