Tottenham are the biggest liability to win the 2022-23 Premier League title currently at BetMGM.

Over 30% of the total handle at the sportsbook is on Spurs to win the title, while 23.8% of the tickets have Tottenham to win.

The rush to bet on Spurs is understandable. They were one of the best teams in the league once manager Antonio Conte took over back on Nov. 2. In eighth place then, they managed to finish fourth in a UEFA Champions League spot, two points above bitter rivals Arsenal.

They also had a big summer transfer window, acquiring Brazilian forward Richarlison from Everton and Yves Bissouma from Brighton. They also signed Croatian international Ivan Perisic on a free transfer, a player who Conte knows well from his time at Inter Milan and can play out as an outside midfielder in his preferred 3-4-3 formation.

Bettors are also probably bullish on Conte's track record as a manager, as he has built his reputation for quickly taking a team and getting them to win trophies. He did it at Juventus, at Inter, and in the Premier League in the past with Chelsea.

The season begins on August 5, when Crystal Palace plays Arsenal.
