Pennsylvania iGaming Generates $210.1M in January Revenue

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced its January iGaming figures, which show that $210.1 million in total iGaming revenue was generated.

The Keystone State has long been home to thriving market for our best sports betting sites and best real-money online casinos, and that didn't change in January.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced its January iGaming figures, with $210.1 million being produced in total iGaming revenue, a 40.5% rise compared to the previous year, which generated $149.5 million in revenue. Of this total, iSlots made up $158.6 million, iTables produced $48.9 million, and iPoker produced $2.5 million.

The Pennsylvania online casino scene became legal in 2019. January's revenue was above $200 million for the third consecutive month and was the second-highest total revenue since December 2024.

A closer look

There are 12 licensed iGaming operators in the Keystone State, and of those 12, only three operators reported revenue higher than $10 million. There are numerous Pennsylvania online casino no-deposit bonuses for residents.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course reported the highest revenue of the month, generating $79.7 million in total iGaming revenue, a 57.9% year-over-year increase. Of this, $56.3 million was iSlots revenue, $22.9 million iTables, and $528,608 iPoker.

Following this, Valley Forge Casino Resort recorded $57.6 million in total iGaming revenue last month, a 38.5% increase from the previous year. $41.4 million and $16.2 million were generated in iSlots and iTables revenue, respectively.

The last iGaming operator to report revenue higher than $10 million was Rivers Casino Philadelphia at $35.4 million, a 19.8% increase from January 2024. iSlots contributed $31.3 million, iTables $3.7 million, and iPoker $328,785.

All other operators, bar one, reported revenue increases for last month. Golden Nugget Casino reported the most significant change, with a 251.7% year-over-year increase from $2.1 million to $7.4 million. Parx Casino was the only operator to report a drop in iGaming revenue, declining from $5.4 million to $4.5 million, a 15.4% decrease compared to the previous year.

Pennsylvania iGaming has Record-Breaking Month in December

Compared to the previous month, iGaming revenue in January was down by nearly $13 million. The Gaming Control Board reported that December 2024 figures reached $223.6 million, the highest since the launch of iGaming within the Keystone State.

This was an 11.6% month-over-month increase compared to November, which produced $200.4 million in total iGaming revenue and a 35.5% year-over-year increase. iSlots and iTables were up in December 2024 compared to last month, with iSlots generating $164.2 in iGaming revenue and iTables producing $56.9 million.
