On Tuesday, FanDuel Sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino in Pennsylvania was the scene of an attempted armed robbery, shocking both patrons of the brick-and-mortar facility and brass of both Boyd Gaming, owners of the Casino Resort in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, along with its sportsbook partner, FanDuel, one of our best sports betting sites.

On Tuesday evening, two men wearing hoodies, white gloves and white ski masks entered Valley Forge Casino armed with guns and demanded money from the FanDuel Sportsbook, located near the entrance of the casino. The incident took place around 11 p.m. ET according to police.

"It was shocking. I couldn’t believe it because I’ve never seen that happen in a casino," said Jay Gerbert, one witness of the attempt.

“The workers were shocked," he added. "They were probably a little nervous. They ain’t gonna get away ... they gonna get caught eventually.”

The suspects were obviously feeling lucky robbing a seemingly impenetrable casino property, but that luck will likely run out with authorities looking seriously into the situation.

Good news is that nobody was harmed during the robbery attempt and that four suspects, who fled in a white Jeep Cherokee with black rims, failed. The four still, however, got away with $120 in tips from a marked jar at the casino.
