New Jersey, the remaining holdout jurisdiction housing Australian-based PointsBet Sportsbook, officially transitioned to Fanatics Sportsbook on Wednesday. Fanatics is one of our best sports betting sites.

It has been nearly a year since Fanatics purchased PointsBet U.S.A's assets for $225 million. Wednesday's announcement in the New Jersey sports betting scene completed a months-long effort to transition states that previously boasted a PointsBet platform. As of Friday, Fanatics Sportsbook will have taken over all 20 of PointsBet's markets and launched its online casino in five states nationwide.

It also made the Fanatics Sportsbook available to about 95% of the U.S. legal sports betting public.

Easy sign-up

Fanatics Sportsbook has made signing up for its online gambling experience simple. As of Wednesday, its sportsbook and online casino are available for download at the App Store, Google Play, and on the company website. It is now part of the list of New Jersey sports betting apps.

Just like in other states that have transitioned away from PointsBet and toward Fanatics, current PointsBet users are able to port all of their relevant information into their Fanatics account following download. That includes their email, usernames, passwords, log-in information, balances, open bets, bonus bets, and reward balance.

Those who register for the new app or NJ online casino will benefit from a platform that has taken strides to provide the best possible online gambling experience.

Other perks from the Fanatics New Jersey platform

Fanatics New Jersey is offering new customers a generous Welcome Bonus. New users will receive a $50 bonus just for signing up, plus 10 profit boosts to use on qualifying wagers. Residents can add it to the list of New Jersey sportsbook promos.

Fanatics will also roll out its "FanCash" Rewards Program for customers in the New Jersey market. It gives users a chance at 5% Cash Back Rewards on most bets. FanCash rewards unlock opportunities for future bonus bets and the chance to purchase Fanatics branded swag from the company's unparalleled online store.

The New Jersey market

Fanatics enters what has consistently been a top three legal sports betting jurisdiction in the American market since it launched 70 months ago. The state had its fourth-best month ever in terms of handle in March, with $1.33 billion in accepted wagers; the seventh straight month, it hit the $1 billion handle mark.

Fanatics will be tough in the New Jersey market, with FanDuel and DraftKings being by far the most popular New Jersey sports betting apps.

The best news is that PointsBet New Jersey was the second-most successful New Jersey sports betting site in terms of revenues in March, with $20.1 million in profits behind FanDuel and ahead of DraftKings. Anytime a sportsbook can leapfrog one of the two betting behemoths, it is a huge win. Residents who wish to check it out can use our Fanatics Sportsbook promo code.

While not the biggest player in the New Jersey market and around the country, Fanatics has been making strides in its attempt to become a major player in the bustling U.S. scene, and added exposure in one of the biggest markets should help.
