The 2018 runner-up will square off against the five-time FIFA World Cup champions this morning. Brazil (3-0-1) are currently sitting as -750 favorites to advance over a Croatia team (2-2-0) who are +490 underdogs.

A 4-1 win over South Korea on Monday solidified Brazil a spot in the quarterfinals for a seventh consecutive tournament. The World Cup favorites turned it on when it mattered, responding from a 1-0 loss to Cameroon by scoring more than they had through the first three group stage matches. Richarlison scored his team-leading third goal, and superstar forward Neymar found the back of the net for the first time in his return from injury.

The team's only loss was not as substantial of an upset as it initially appears. Brazil were only -260 favorites on the Moneyline, with multiple regulars absent from the starting 11.

Croatia

While they remain undefeated, Croatia has far from dominated thus far, now tying in regulation for a third time after defeating Japan on penalty kicks. Ivan Perisic scored in regulation in the elimination game after assisting both of Andrej Kramaric’s goals in their only other victory over Canada. Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic stopped three of four shots in penalty kicks and has two clean sheets on his resume stopping 8 of 10 shots on target.

Croatia has yet to defeat Brazil, losing three times in their only four matchups. 2018 was the most recent meeting, with Brazil coming out on top 2-0 in an international friendly. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. Eastern Time. The winner will advance to the semifinal to play either the Netherlands or Argentina.
