The Toronto Blue Jays (-158) visit the Cleveland Guardians for the first game of their series at Progressive Field on Thursday, and Toronto first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has plenty of player props for prospective bettors at various sportsbooks.

Guerrero went 4-for-11 with two doubles and an RBI during Toronto’s recent three-game series against the New York Yankees. He’s sporting a respectable .286/.350/.527 slash line, but it remains a far cry from the .311/.401/.601 line he posted during his breakout 2021 season.

Cleveland righty Aaron Civale will be making his fifth start of the season and enters with an underwhelming 10.67 ERA, 1.95 WHIP, and 8.8 K/9 through 14.1 innings on the campaign. He’s also allowed 25 home runs and a .348 wOBA against right-handed batters during his career, so this could prove to be a favorable matchup for Guerrero.

However, Civale and Guerrero have only faced each other three times, and the first baseman is 0-for-3.

Guerrero is -330 to record a hit, -105 to register an RBI, and +230 to hit a home run against the Guardians on Thursday at FanDuel Sportsbook

Additionally, Civale’s strikeout Over/Under prop is 3.5 (-144) at the book.

Here’s a quick peek at more of Guerrero’s player prop totals at DraftKings Sportsbook and Caesars Sportsbook.

DraftKings is offering the best return on all of Guerrero’s props except his RBI total, and as noted, this could prove to be a soft matchup for the American League MVP candidate.

The Cleveland bullpen has a run-of-the-mill 3.57 ERA. But it’s worth highlighting that Guardian relievers have only surrendered 70 hits this season — the fifth-fewest in the league. Make sure to keep an eye on our Live Odds page throughout the week to get the best lines possible and connect with others in the SBR community on our popular sports betting forum.
