The Brooklyn Nets visit the Boston Celtics (-3.5) at TD Garden for Game 2 of their first-round series Wednesday - and Brooklyn point guard Kyrie Irving has several player props available at sportsbooks for bettors.
While Boston won 115-114 in Game 1 on Sunday, Irving poured in a game-high 39 points and added nine rebounds, six assists, and six three-points in the losing effort.
However, what's caught more headlines is his $50,000 fine for tossing up middle finger gestures and directing profane language directed at Celtics fans during Sunday's loss.
The seven-time All-Star averaged 27.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 3.4 three-pointers per game during the regular season - and Irving has averaged 23.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers per game through 71 postseason appearances.
Here's a quick peek at Irving's player prop totals at DraftKings, Caesars, and FanDuel Sportsbooks.

In Game 1, Irving's statline flew over the totals for all four of the noted props, so it isn't surprising to see a healthy vig on most highlighted lines. However, bookmakers are also clearly welcoming some action by hanging these low totals following Irving's monster showing Sunday.
Still, bettors will want to also keep in mind just how suffocating the Celtics can be defensively. After all, Boston ranked first in defensive rating and points allowed per game during the regular season.

Additionally, it wouldn't be surprising if Brooklyn's other top scorer, Kevin Durant, has an improved showing Wednesday. Durant went just 9-for-24 from the field, including hitting just one of his five three-point attempts in Game 1.
The reasonable prop totals for Irving are probably accounting for Durant cutting into some of the scoring, and, potentially, Boston having a stronger defensive showing.
