The draw for the 2022 World Cup took place Friday.
32 teams were drawn into eight groups for the tournament taking place in Qatar starting November 21.
The following conditions had to be met:
- One team from each pot will enter into a group – eight total
- No more than two European teams per group and no more than one team in a group from the same confederation

Following the draw, opening odds were quick to be released from DraftKings and FanDuel. Brazil, England and France are the early favorites to win it all, while Argentina, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal round out the next betting tier.
