The only relatively unique sport on the menu is F1 racing. Otherwise, it falls short of what other sportsbooks offer.

We would not recommend utilizing this platform for the average or beginner bettor due to the poor odds that affect players over time. Still, it's a worthy addition if you're planning on visiting the retail casino or living nearby.

NFL Betting

BetWildwood offers a standard range of betting options for NFL wagers, including futures, moneylines, spreads, and totals each Sunday during the season. As with most local sportsbooks in Colorado, you'll see plenty of Denver Broncos action here and won't miss a single game as Woody's Sportsbook at Wildwood offers a vast TV wall with the NFL Sunday Ticket and a complete bar.

NBA Betting

BetWildwood offers moneyline, spread, and total plays for every scheduled game. You can also wager on quarterly or halftime options and exact playoff series outcomes.

College Football

BetWildwood offers moneyline, spread, and total plays for most Division I games on any given Saturday during the season, along with various futures markets for the National Championship.

College Basketball

You can expect to find a full slate of college basketball betting options when the season is in full swing. Betwildwood typically steps up the offering once March Madness tips off, and their physical sportsbook typically has an electric environment once you get into the Final Four.

NHL Betting

Though the least popular of the four major North American sports, hockey is beginning to garner more betting attention in the United States - especially in Colorado after the Avalanche won the 2021-2022 Stanley Cup championship. Players can wager on moneylines, pucklines, or totals, while the in-game selections are decent. Team and player props are among the most popular live options.

MLB Betting

BetWildwood offers traditional MLB markets. Besides your standard moneyline, spread, and totals, bettors can also wager on player props. Before shutting down for a redesign, BetWildwood's betting website was underwhelming.  

Website Experience

The betting site design and interface were exceptionally dated, and the betting menu was limited to that day's games. 

If you would like to place a bet for the next day, that option did not appear available - which is disappointing.

Mobile Betting and Betting App

BetWildwood offers a mobile betting app for iOS and Android, but it is currently unavailable due to a redesign. 

Before the redesign, the app was as rudimentary as it comes, but if there is a consolation, it was easy to navigate.

However, when placing a bet, a bettor would be confused about where their ticket is, as the bet slip blended into the upper right-hand corner due to its archaic design features. 

The app had a 2.8-star rating on the Apple App Store - which may be generous. 

There is no update on when the app will relaunch, but this is good news for prospective users, considering the previous experience.

Live Betting

Live betting was available in the previous Betwildwood app and will remain an option once they relaunch. You can still catch all the action live in-person at Wildwood Casino and wager in-game via their kiosks.

Casino, Poker, & Other Gaming Options

Presently, Betwildwood does not offer any iGaming features on its app.

Wildwood Casino has an extensive collection of casino games to choose from in Cripple Creek and even earned the “Most Money Won in Cripple Creek” award by paying out the most significant jackpots yearly. In 2021, they handed out $17 million more than any year in Wildwood history.

You'll find more than 500 slots on the property, from classic games like Buffalo and Double Diamond to the newest games on the market.

BetWildwood offers a standard sports betting menu conducive for recreational sports bettors or guests at their resort. 

The physical sportsbook "Woody's" offers a joyful and pleasurable experience for those looking to entertain themselves by wagering on a sporting event or seeking a fun and energetic experience while enjoying food and drinks with friends. 

Their highly anticipated sports betting app redesign will tell us more about how BetWildwood stacks up against the competition. Still, until the new platform is released, we cannot honestly grade the overall operation.

However, BetWildwood is a recreational sportsbook and should be treated that way. Advanced bettors looking for options outside mainstream leaders like DraftKings and FanDuel should turn their attention to betting sites like Circa Sports in Colorado if you're looking for no-frills and quality odds.
