I’m hoping to remember the Titans when Tennessee faces the New York Giants, while also focusing on the Indianapolis Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team enduring a rougher patch than the coarsest sandpaper.

🎯 Buccaneers moneyline (+110 via BetMGM)

The Buccaneers have lost 11 straight games against the spread. As the 2.5-point home underdog, they must snap that streak to beat the Minnesota Vikings.

While the Vikings are full value for their 2-0 start, the Week 2 win in Chicago was uglier than the ugliest duckling.

Kyler Murray will start after returning from concussion protocol, and he might need time to acclimate to his new offense. He threw a pick in just five attempts in his Week 1 Vikings’ regular-season debut.

The Buccaneers showed promise against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 and could have won had they not turned the ball over four times. If they can’t rebound after a loss to the Cleveland Browns, there’s no hope for Baker Mayfield and Co.

With the 30th-ranked DVOA and the 23rd-best EPA per play, the Houston Texans’ highly vaunted defense has sputtered out of the gate.

The offense has offered a mixed bag, but it has been consistent in its red zone struggles, sporting the 23rd-ranked TD percentage (44.44%). Scoring just six points at home against the Bengals won’t allay anxiety entering Week 3 on the road.

The Colts were unlucky not to beat the Kansas City Chiefs after a much-improved Week 2 outing.

Like his team, Daniel Jones improved after a rough Week 1, and I’m not convinced C.J. Stroud can get the job done without the injured Nico Collins.

Picking the Tennessee Titans isn't about having much faith in them, but my complete absence of belief in the New York Giants’ ability to create anything resembling a cohesive offense without Jaxson Dart under center.

Jameis Winston was a ghastly 11-for-27 and amassed just 111 passing yards, along with a pick, in relief of Dart at SoFi Stadium on MNF. John Harbaugh’s lack of confidence in Winston became immediately apparent, leading to the most predictable offense I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

The Titans made a good account of themselves in the 24-20 Week 2 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and if they can emulate that performance, an upset should be on the cards.
